Small Boy

When our children were small, we'd wait till late in the afternoon, and wander on the beach for an hour or so before sunset when the crowds had gone home and the sting had gone from the sun.

With Mr Three yesterday, all those warm and fuzzy memories came flooding back.

He looks delightful, Peter. I bet you and Jo are sooo looking forward to the anticipated sibling.

The water here looks like sheet ice. Like the lines very much.

Wow, the texture there is so interesting! It looks like... cement or folded plastic or... ?? It does not look like sand. What is under the water?

Thanks Julie, he is one of our favourite people. The new one will be his cousin!

Kim, the texture is actually weathered rock, we are playing in the rockpools near the beach at Mooloolaba.

As soon as I saw the photo I recognised the small boy ... though I've never actually met him.

Ah, very cute.

I am enjoying 18month old toddler grandson here in NYC for Christmas and beyond. Walks in the park, mind you not as warm as the Sunshine coast, but still very precious!

What a lovely shot! I enjoy my grandchildren so much that I don't want them to grow up sometimes.
