Alex - not quite sunset.
My first Skywatch in quite a while!
The sun has an hour or so in it, but the deep shadow is cast by an enormous storm front coming over. Two or three kilometres away, the buildings below Alexandra Headland are still in the clear, and seem quite unconcerned.
As there are every week, there are hundreds of links to more Skywatch photos at Skywatch Friday.

That fellow in the rock pool looks like he is playing golf. I think I have had enough golf jokes to last me a lifetime.
You have captured tremendous depth in this, Peter. Laying of one interest point after another.
The development at AH is astounding. I have not been up that way for over 30 years. I guess "progress" is to be expected.
Ah, the coast, the sunshine coast! Hope you didn't get too bad a storm?
Great picture.
It's a beautiful SkyWatch!
And what a fabulous way to come back
Welcome back! Picture postcard perfect.
I always find it amazing how heavy clouds in slanted light eccentuate the light. Nice shot.
