Looking down again
The new lighthouse is more correctly the "Signalling Station", and while it's easier to climb these stairs, there's none of the romance of rickety wooden ladders.

Very interesting shot indeed! I actually first thought it was an art deco ceiling :)
The steps do look appealing.
