Ignominious

What a sad ending for a fish whose only crime was to get caught.   I don't like the use of harvested "souvenirs" as objects for commercial exploitation, yet here we are, in our own back yard accepting a gift graciously and even taking some enjoyment as it hangs there gracefully aging.  

I wonder if my bones will meet a similar fate?
