A young surfer begins to stand as her board takes off on a wave. I can't believe how much trouble she's gone to to coordinate her colours with those of the sea!

Phil O'Logus of Seoul City Daily Photo has presented us with an Arte y Picoaward! Thanks Phil!
In the spirit of the rules of the award (see below), I have decided to pass it on to five fellow photo-bloggers whose blogs I enjoy. So, in no particular order, the award now goes to:
Mme Benaut Occasional Blog/
Riga Daily Photos
Bandung Daily Photo
Shanghai Daily Photo
Mumbai Daily Photo
Here are the rules of this award :
1. You have to pick five blogs that you consider 'deserving of this award for their creativity, design, interesting material and which contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language they are in.'
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given him/her the award itself.
4. The award winner and the one who has given the prize has to show the Arte y Pico blog so that everyone will know the origin of the award.
5. Each award winner has to post these rules. Just copy and paste the rules above. Copy, save, and paste the Arte y Pico award and pick your deserving five!

Beautiful colouring in this shot biting midge.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Ah, makes me wish I was back home in Oz! By the way, I left a little something for you in my blog entry today...
I'm impressed that she's coordinated with her board. Is the water warm enough to surf in winter where you are?
The water temperature today is 22°c which is about the same as the air conditioning in our office. Outside air temperature is a balmy 25c.
That's winter for you!
Nearly everyone wears at least a wetsuit top in the water at this time of year, but during school holidays (last week) the kids don't seem to mind the cool.
Looks like so much fun!
Clever of you to notice the matching outfits. Far to cold here to even think about surfing. Lovely portrait.
she made a great choice with that color:)
Mazal tov on your well deserved award.
These greens are amazing!
Can you imagine our beaches in Tel Aviv having 30 degree water?
