Lines

Lines of waves, but I'm afraid this pic is a bit of a "theme cheat" as the "lines" of waves are actually called "sets".

This is the day after, leftover from storm surf adjacent to the Northern Breakwater of the Mooloolah River. It's a bit hard to judge the scale of these waves, but they were easily three metres at times. The person standing by the white marker light gives a bit of an idea.

The waves do form lines, and I think it's a great interpretation of the theme.

The waves are pretty scary though. I have a very healthy respect for (and fear of) the power of water, living in an archipelago which has at least a dozen typhoons every year!

The surf is definitely up! A fine choice for the theme.

beautiful photograph and I learned something - I'd have called them lines. Just makes me want to jump in tho and you are too far away!

What a great idea, love it!

You can tell from the colour of the water that it was after a storm, the seas are so much clearer usually!
Hard indeed to tell the height of the waves, I never would have thought.

A beautiful photo, looks like a lovely place.
Maybe you'd also like to show some of your photos at trivago, an international community of travelers for travelers. I'm sure our visitors there would enjoy such lovely scenes if they are looking for travel tips from your part of the world.
