Views of Point Cartwright
5 of 5

As we walk around the rocks to the part that's more exposed to the full force of the ocean, the smaller rocks disappear, and the surface becomes a solid mass, interspersed with puddles and rockpools.

No, this isn't the last of the Point Cartwright Views, but I thought I'd stop numbering them before I got to double figures.

Is that a gas tank? I thought they were only inner-city delights? What is that fatter structure?

I'm sorry, I thought I'd described it previously. Perhaps I have in a post yet to be posted.

It's a water tank. The Point is the highest bit of land for miles around, so it makes sense on the one hand.

On the other, try getting approval for a home unit development of that bulk in a similar location, no matter how spectacular the architecture.

your photos make my heart ache, they are so beautiful. My husband and son are in Australia on the Sunshine Coast now, and I am stuck in America working. Thanks!
