Southerners
It's getting cooler. The southerners are arriving.
Round here almost all our estuarine fish species are bottom feeding, so typically fishing lines are rigged with small lead sinkers to ensure that the bait stays down where the fish are likely to see it. When the tourists arrive from the south, it's easy to spot them. They're the ones fishing with the floats.

Hey that's funny. I never knew what the sinkers were for ... I suspect I have become a southener.
Tourists can be helpful as the float through the economy.
This is the way lots of us folks fish in Florida...
I used to use those to fish when I was a kid! Nice shot!
