Red Reeds
1 of 3

In one of the forecourts at the University, there is a simple steel sculpture. A kinetic piece reminiscent of a giant clump of grass.

I don't know what it is called, or even if it has a name, but it has a presence which cannot be argued.

Perhaps someone will be kind enough to leave a comment, filling in the details?

Very wonderfully composed photo. I thought that was grass when I first saw the thumbnail.

I’m sure if you asked the Curator of Art they would be able to tell you ‘title’ & artist. Just love this site. My sun lives in Palmwoods but I have only been to Queensland twice. This is a great way to have a look around. Thank you.
