Dune Grass

I am surprised at how many places in the world I have visited where the dune grasses look just like this.

Holland, Belgium, Canada, USA,

Having bitten off more than I could chew in the early part of this year, I was unable to produce the catalogue which enables me to post daily on this blog while on our annual migration to the other side of the world.

I did manage to gather a scattering of photos over the last few weeks of my stay this year so sadly will now make this a weekly blog until our return from places other than this one.

Thank you for your understanding. Hopefully we'll resume full transmission some time in November in the meantime feel free to keep up with our travels on our other daily blog, Fading Memories.

Tracks

Only rescue vehicles are allowed on the beach, and it's not hard to see where they've been.  Still playing with the iPhone.

A huddle of Lifesavers

It's Sunday, the weather is terrible and there's no one on the beach, let alone in the water yet they huddle together ever vigilant, always at the ready.

Overcast

An ordinary day for a walk, but it's good to be out, and it's far from cool.

Sunset at Moffs

There are a few reasons why I'm chugging away with the phone.  For starters, when this shot was taken my camera weight was above my surgically induced lift limit.  That aside my previous phone(s) supposedly had pretty good cameras for their time, but this one has blown me away.  So here I am perservering in mixed (low) light at sunset, and it's just taken control!

Sunset on Norfolks

Oh no!  There's at least a month to go at two photos per week, watching him muck around with that darned phone.   Good, isn't it?

Walking into the setting sun.

This phone can do no wrong!  If only it could learn to compose a little better and perhaps send it walking by itself....

Evening at Moffat Beach.
