Garden ornaments made of various floats and bits found on the shore, or bought at a market, or just left around the place.
Whatever the truth of the source, the result gives a suitably "beachy" feel to the yard. There was a time when floats were romantically made of glass with tarred rope netting holding them in place.
Styrene and plastic is the "New Romantic".
