Trouble in the air

Most will know it's been a bit dampish round these parts for a while.

On the sixteenth of December last, we had a bit of a break in the constant rain, just sufficiently long enough to allow a storm front to cross. This one carried a bit of hail with it.

The very day I sat in a fully laden plane for 3 hours on the ground waiting for said GREEN storm front to wash over us. At times, the turbulence was such that it felt like we were actually flying.

Good photo.
Hoping you are all still ok there in all the floods from yesterday.

We're fine thanks Annie, just a bit of moss growing between our toes! Now we wait to see what havoc has been wrought in the Brisbane Valley. Reports are horrendous.

Glad to hear you are coping okay. Can't believe what's happening up there. Those pictures from Towoomba were incredible - and terrible.

Reports indeed have been horrendous. Entire suburbs of Caboolture, Strathpine, West End have been told to evacuate ahead of flooding exacerbated by the downpours of yesterday and this morning. May God go with them.

Been watching the news from Australia the last few weeks. Horrible is a good word to describe it. Glad that you are OK.

That made me go, "Wow".

A very spectacular photo. Of course we've been following Queensland events as they unfold, and our heart goes to all those affected by those dreadful floods.
