Insects
Australia has a reputation internationally for the ferocity of its insects. If I was to say that this photo shows damaged mosquito mesh protecting the marina, would anyone believe me?

Was going to say No I don't think so. But someone has beaten me to it.
Although some Bill Bryson types might be inclined to believe you.
Crocodiles perhaps?
