Five Fluffy Flowers
One
I was walking through our suburb the other day, basking in the glorious winter sunshine, when it occurred to me that we are blessed to have so many plants which flower all year round, or specially in winter. Then it seemed that so many of them had extended stamen or petals that it was worth a short photographic series.
This one is the Golden Penda, Xanthostemon Chrysanthus and they look fabulous when the trees are in full flower.

It is a glorious looking flower!
You just rub it in about warm winter sunshine. I have cold wet British summer. I do want this fluffy yellow flower. Beautifully captured.
Beautiful flower, the bright yellow colour is perfect !
nice composition and detail.
I love it.
