Winter fishing
It's winter for crying out loud.
It must be less than 20° C and I'm walking on the beach with wooly socks, jeans and a light jacket on in deference to the season if not the temperature, but that doesn't mean it's right to be a tourist and pretend that there's warmth in that there sun. Not even if you're fishing!
Mind you, this photo was taken a month or so ago, and last week's temperatures have been in the balmy thirties and even thirty-seven yesterday... just like the height of summer!

Hopefully the bracing English summer will toughen you up a bit. Woolly socks and jeans in 20 degrees? You wimp!
Balmy weekend in Sydney too.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
Hey we went to the beach recently because it was a lovely and warm 20 degrees ... much nicer than the heat of summer ... but I don't swim.
