Mo, it's the little black one that's found throughout the rainforest.
Julie, the tree is in deep shade, and has a slight tinge of green in reality, I could have fixed it by adding a touch of saturation, but I really liked it like this.
I wonder if that big old fig tree is still there at the tewantin pub. I'll be able to see for myself soon - celebrating my mum's 60th up at Noosaville (i can't wait!)

Fig trees are terrific, aren't they? They are all over Sydney. This image of yours looks like part of it is B&W and part of it is colour.
I like the light ...
Is this the black fig or that lovely red one?

You are getting scarily good at rainforest shots.
I just got lucky on the day. The sun just seemed to move wherever I wanted to.
It should be noted that I've been there at other times of the day and came away with nothing.
Beautiful tree ! Thanks for your comment on my blog ,i like your sens of humour ;)
Fig trees give great shade. I like the way you've captured the contortions of the trunk..
I really like the way you played with light and shadow. Wonderful detail shot!
