The beach at the end of our street is a popular landing spot for skydivers. They just seem to appear out of nowhere, a screaming bundle of arms and legs as the tandem jumpers land among what must seem like a crowd. The pilots give the impression that they have done this once or twice before though, landing invariably into the waiting arms of a "catcher".
