Just as I was marvelling at how alone I was, with the beach devoid of the usual sun seekers, the breeze howling and the surf completely blown out, the sail boarders arrived.

I always wonder how those young people actually wake so early in the morning. Must be the beach and the waves calling them!
When you are here, your definition of "young" may change! I think they are the same people who were young forty years ago!
