Closer to Shore

It's closer to shore where the timid and the foolhardy hang out.  On a day where the surf is gentle, like today, they'll be content to bob up and down in the foam until their bikini bottoms are filled with sand......

Watery Wednesday is all very well, but where there is water there are consequences!

That water looks so nice and warm to me. Summer sure does seem far away right now!

I look out my office window and all I see is snow! No beach! No bikinis!

These have been lovely shots this week, Peter. The problem with Sydney's beaches is that it takes so long to get there and back that the pleasure has dissipated.

I agree about the foolhardiness of water awareness. However, here in Sydney it is often young males later in the evening when the alcohol kicks in.

Oops. Sounds like what I'll do. Hehehe. I've a phobia of deep water, but I can bob up and down in the shallows the whole day. ;)
