To the right of the creek we don't see the major supermarket which is so despised by locals because of the impact on the platypus in the creek.
To the left, we see the fully supported mock colonial shopping centre complete with observation boardwalk which to my untrained eye seems to have completely obliterated the bank and therefore the habitat.
Would it be cynical of me to ask if there was perhaps an agenda other than the well being of the platypus at stake?
And to think that developers are often accused of dishonesty! (Insert winking, smiling emoticon of choice and run for cover!)
