All that glitters.

The picture I posted of this shop just two years ago, was one of a building that was doing a fine job of blending with the character of the town,

I am not convinced that the new emerging character marks a positive change, or wether we are watching an older lady trying to dress as something she is not.

Is the new signage really better? Do we really need to know the name of the town we are in when we stand opposite the butcher's shop? I think I liked the old version better, but then I'm at risk of being a grumpy person!
