Symmetry with root

All that remains of a once majestic pandanus is all that gets in the way of an almost symmetrical shot.

  1. Hope that wasn't your favorite pandanus?

Did it succumb to the disease which was affecting some others along the coast?

Such a shame, but they do leave a lot of mess lying around, especially in a park.

We used to have a whole 5 acre paddock of them when we lived in the Northern Territory. Had to get the fire brigade to give us a permit to burn it off every year, and they always grew back again.
