Southern Sky

The view from Pt Cartwright to Caloundra from the farthest vantage point in yesterday's photo, looking back at where I had been.

I'm always fascinated by the way the days are clear, but as the evening descends cloud builds up along the coastline, caused by the thermal effect of the moist sea air rising as it arrives over the land.

  11. Haven't ben there often, but Caloundra is one of the loveliest beaches I've ever swum at. I think I learned to ride a surf mat there.
