A Photo Every Day from the Sunshine Coast - Australia

Ahh January!

January has gone, and with it the crowds. We no longer have to arrive at the beach at five am to find a vacant barbecue area, or at six to grab the last piece of sand.

This is a reminder of what it is like, just so we appreciate February, when business goes quiet, and we have the sand to ourselves.

  1. I do prefer less crowded beaches, but if it's hot and sunny I will take it!

  2. Well that's we would call "bumper to bumper" (as in traffic!) here. Too crowded for me. Bet you are glad to have the beach to yourselves now. Why do people only visit in January? I'm curious.

  7. So, if I go to see my mother in February I will find a spot on Alex beach?
