I have expressed my concerns before at the loss of the traditional street facades in Maleny. They have almost entirely given way now to the bright modern clutter that some how works to hide the identity of the place. This is not to say they are bad, they have a certain consistency, but they are not the outcome loudly espoused by those who espoused outcomes in days gone by.

It reminds me of the monotony of corporate brands all over streets as opposed to individual shops.
