Ahh now here's a conundrum; the bamboo bonnet prop is a cutesy nod to beach culture, presumably from the U.S. "tiki hut" era of the sixties, because there's no bamboo grown round here.
The problem is though, to be historically correct, there'd be a chick possibly in a two piece bathing suit holding the bonnet open.... "making herself useful."
Perhaps that bit is best left forgotten!
