Roadkill!

Some countries in which I have had the pleasure of living actually encourage bicycles as a means of providing a genuine transport alternative.

Here they are considered to be the enemy of drivers who are given every assistance to rid the world of this scourge.

Is there anywhere else in the world that considers a white dividing line to be an adequate bike lane?

    There are some politicians here, particularly on the municipal level, who would view cyclists as fair game for drivers to run down, based on what they say about accidents involving cyclists dying.
