Tangled Web


Sometimes the roots of the Pandanus are open and free, spindly structures.  Just why these seem to be deliberately competing with one another for a grip on the earth is a mystery to me.  But they are lovely things.

    The overall effect is the feeling of being tangled. It's so unlike trees here.
