Desperately seeking patina.


Amazingly, the gossamer curtains over the face of just one half of this window, are actually fly screens.   The fibreglass reinforced plastic mesh has disintegrated in the sun to the extent that only the fibreglass reinforcing is left.

I have to admit I haven't seen that before!
