Antiques


"Antique: a collectible object such as a piece of furniture or work of art that has a high value because of its considerable age."

Since most things in antique shops in Australia are not as old as I am, I am not prepared to admit that the age of any of them is anywhere near "considerable".

I suspect therefore, that the collectible objects within, have a high value for other reasons.

    Re; antiques..... I will go to an auction this weekend, first time in a nearby small city. I might go for something old and nice.
