Gosh, I knew that was going to be Coolum, before I scrolled down to read your words.
A scene very familiar from childhood holidays...with 4 kids, cocker spaniel dog, with six puppies one year, all crammed into an old Holden.
"Are we there yet", and "who will be first to see the water"..."I can see the water." I bet Mum and Dad were always relieved to get to this spot. Albeit there was only a corner shop there back in the 50's, and we holidayed in my auntie's humble two roomed fibro shack up on the point just over looking the three beaches. A scene where we would clamber over the rocks, and Mum would sit and sketch. Wonderful. Thanks for reminding me.
Thanks for your comments, I appreciate the time you've taken, and apologise if I seem never to reply! Due to a serious amount of spam turning up I've had to turn off "Anonymous" comments.
