Mostly the rubbish is bits of broken sugar cane washed down the Maroochy River and pummelled in the surf. It makes a nice defining line though to keep people off the dune grasses.

Mostly the rubbish is bits of broken sugar cane washed down the Maroochy River and pummelled in the surf. It makes a nice defining line though to keep people off the dune grasses.
