Can you count the traffic lights in the picture? I can see nine, but including those out of view there are at least fourteen sets at these two intersections, including the one which suggests that headless persons should perhaps not attempt to cross.
At what point in time do the traffic people start to think about whether there's a better way?
One wonders how the planners allow it!
