Skim Boarding 2 of 4
Following from yesterday's post, here is a skim boarder whizzing down the sand, about to make contact with the incoming wave, no doubt mentally preparing himself for some stunning jump.
Another great shot! It's interesting that this person has on a regular bathing suit, while the one yesterday had on a wet suit. What is the water temperature?
What an interesting post and the previous ones also. I can not image doing flips in shallow water...hmmm I can't imagine doing flips any time! I also love the ocean and swim daily, yours looks a little warmer than ours. The photo of the young osprey is amazing. Thanks for sharing. Smiles
Thanks for your comments, I appreciate the time you've taken, and apologise if I seem never to reply! Due to a serious amount of spam turning up I've had to turn off "Anonymous" comments.

ReplyDeleteAhh the water temperature never gets below 19°C (about 68°F) and the air temp at the time I took the photos was 24°C.
ReplyDeleteWe often see this sort of disparity, usually it's people from the southern (colder) climes who brave what we call "cold" without wetsuits!
You have captured pending excitement...hard to do with a camera!
ReplyDeleteYes, he is a quiver of expectation, Peter.
ReplyDeleteHe certainly beefed up over night!!
ready , steady ....
ReplyDeleteThis one looks a bit on the chilly side. Looking forward to #3.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to my blog - pity you didn't get to WA. Maybe next time.
the water looks so inviting!!
