ReplyDeleteY'know - the last time I was at Mooloolabah - that's as hard to spell as Wooloomooloo - was in August of '72 with my father. It has probably changed ...
ReplyDeleteShame about those two apartment blocks on the waterfront ... but yes, it does come up sweetly at night - and more sweetly from a distance!
Lovely! This is where my brother and his family and friends spent New Year's Eve. I spent one NY's eve at Mooloolaba, many years ago and it was one of the best nights I've ever had. I had actually forgotten about it until now - thought that most of those memories had disappeared. So thank you, Peter!
