Summer Frost

Visitors from a colder climate could be forgiven for thinking that this was a picture taken through a frosty window.

Alas December here brings us temperatures around 30°C (86°F) which makes frost rather unlikely. Sadly but beautifully no less, it's just the setting sun viewed through a dirty window.

  1. Mahalo for your visit--glad we met now I know you're here! There are sooo many blogs on CDP that I miss some! Saw the movie "Australia" recently and loved it. I wondered at the time how Aussies feel about this one.

  2. Wonderful colour, it does look a bit like frost, or perhaps humidity which would be more likely where you are.

  3. I had a laugh reading your explanation on this photo (smile).

  4. I love this shot! It has such an old time atmosphere. And the window is only dirty because you are too busy taking photos to clean. Either that or it is the maid's day off. That is always my excuse. (I am the maid, the cook, the gardener..., by the way.)
    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate the time you've taken, and apologise if I seem never to reply! Due to a serious amount of spam turning up I've had to turn off "Anonymous" comments.
