Two Way Creek is named presumably because it flows in two directions with the ebb and flow of the tide, although its mouth is often completely barred from the ocean with a build up of sand, so at times it more like "no way pond"!
I thought this picture was a nice reflective pun on the name.

From the portal I thought that was a shard of bark ... You have a good eye to have picked this shot out from the landscape, Peter. I like it a lot: I like the light/shadows; I like the corrugated reflection; I like the colours.
ReplyDeleteI also like the text! "No Way Pond" is a good line ...
A pun ... from you ... what a surprise :-) Clever shot.
ReplyDeleteI think you mean Tooway Lake don't you?
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done reflection.
ReplyDeleteThanks All,
ReplyDeleteZorfling, you may well be correct, although I've always referred to the bit that leads into the lake as " the Creek".
Having been wrong for fity years, I probably won't change my habits now!
Cheers!
Lovely pun.
