Sheraton Noosa
I don't think the Sheraton Noosa ever quite fitted with the rest of the urban context (sorry Brian). It's a little bit of Florida sticking up on its own really, but it makes a nifty photo.
I'm a Noosa local and love the fresh view you have captured of the Sheraton Noosa skyline. Yes our Noosa sky really is that blue on a sunny day. Great for landscapes but a challenge for my specialty : beach wedding photography in Noosa http://www.anoosa.com
Thanks for your comments, I appreciate the time you've taken, and apologise if I seem never to reply! Due to a serious amount of spam turning up I've had to turn off "Anonymous" comments.

Yes it does remind me of South Florida. The sky is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat can't possibly be a real sky!!!! Just amazing. I've been through Noosa Head but didn't stop there.
ReplyDeleteNext trip I'll pay more attention to the sky.

ReplyDeleteThanks all! Ronnie I wish I had your skills in dealing with the conditions! There's a reason I like taking photos of buildings and deep shadows!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
The blue is . We occasionally get this hue. Love the lines and shadows of to me interesting arcgitecture.
ReplyDeleteSuch strong colours together yet they work. I remember a place at Palm Cove, Cairns, very like this.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo - reminds me of a David Hockney painting.
That's a really striking photo - those blues (sky and building) are incredible!
