The library is designed to mimic the older style of building, and sits on the sensitive Obi Obi Creek banks. The community is obviously accepting of this development, unlike the supermarket on the opposite bank.
I'm not sure if that's hypocrisy at work, or some sort of grand vision.

The Library building re-designed by a local architect,transformed a fruit shed into a beautiful public place allowing access and views of the creek.
ReplyDeleteIn stark contrast,Woolworths with their multi-billion dollar assets could not afford to design to the site.A concrete car park dominates the frontage and the bunker building gives no creek view or access.Who's the hypocrites?
