When I set out to publish one photo per day, I deliberately tried to stay away from archetypal post card shots. Occasionally I slip up, but it's a bit hard to avoid them, even photographed in the middle of the day, which every expert warns against, the place looks reasonably attractive!

That's one of the best advertisements for Noosa that I've seen so far! Definitely a postcard shot and for the life of me I can't imagine why you'd want to steer clear of those - must be a boy thing!

ReplyDeleteI loved Noosa when I stayed there for a week, en route to Cairns, where I used to live.
ReplyDeleteI'd not worry about posting archtypal photographs of your area - they are still 'your' take on them and are so interesting to others who haven't been there. I try to do the same with Menton - but often it's that so-called 'tourist' view but then I love it. Noosa is a great place.
